About Alex Beattie and Artisan Branding
I started my company, Artisan Branding when I was a sales rep for duPont Publishing, Inc. in St. Petersburg, Florida. The idea of design work and creating and maintaining agents’ web presence and combining their marketing came about while I was working with various agents. The business of real estate was completely turned on its head—for many reasons.
The internet revolution had hit its stride and most small business owners didn’t have any idea what to do about it (Let alone the idea of “tweeting or updating one’s status).

I started this blog, the one you are reading now, in response to that disruption.
The initial idea, while creating and configuring this blog, was to write about high-end real estate. No easy task. What I did, in turn, was recruit agents that were interested in contributing to this “new” marketing.

From there is where I started developing platforms and a targeted presence for agents.

You have definitely captured my interest with this new luxury blog. I am definitely in to high-end goods, but don’t really think of myself as affluent. Have you defined the demographics for this profile? Can’t wait to see more. I do have a cousin who studied at Julliard and plays violin with The Chicago Symphony. I seem to recall that he did own a Stradivarius. Nicely presented my dear!
Why thank you Julie. I think I would have stopped to listen, but I’m a sucker for music anyway. Thanks for tuning in!!!
I like your blog, Alex!
